Fast, Give, Pray, Prepare
"Give alms...Pray to your Father...Fast without a gloomy face..." (Matthew 6: 1-18)

Meet St
St. Patrick
. Patrick ~   An apostle of Ireland, born in  Scotland in 387 & died in Ireland in 461.  He was captured at age 14 and was taken to Ireland as a slave to herd and tend sheep. During his captivity, he turned to God in prayer.  At twenty he escaped to Britian and began studying to become a priest. Patrick and his disciples preached and converted thousands and began building churches all over the country. Patrick worked many miracles and wrote of his love for God.  Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Trinity, making it synonymous with him and the Irish since that time.
