The First Week of Advent!

Something wonderful is about to happen....

wait patiently and prepare for the greatest gift of all!!

FIRST SUNDAY:  Candle of love
                                Dear God, bless this wreath and help our family to remember that Christmas is a time to celebrate the birhtday of Jesus. the Son of God, who is true man and true God.


LETTER OF THE DAY:  Jj - Have the children bring something for the letter Jj.  They will be enjoying jello at snack time, yum!!

Christmas Concert Practice/Family Concert Practice - CONCERT DECEMBER 13TH.  FAMILY CELEBRATIONS DEC. 14TH (PM CLASS), DEC 15TH (3 YEAR OLD CLASS) AND DEC. 16TH (AM CLASS)

For the remainder of December the children will be practicing for their concert and Family Christmas Celebration during their circle time sessions.

                                               Concert Costume

          The 4 Year Old children will be angels in the concert.  They will need to wear plain white shirts and dark bottoms (nave blue or black).  If the girls wear dark skirts please have them wear dark tights .

PRESCHOOL THEME: Appreciating patience as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.  Retelling the journey of Mary and Joseph as they too prepared for the coming of Christ through felt stories.  Christmas crafts.





Wow! Half Way Through November!

November 17th and 18th - Special Guests
Firefighter Kevin-    Will be attending the 3 Year Old program to talk about fire safety with the children!

Firefighter Warren -  Will be attending the 4 Year Old program to talk about fire safety!


PRESCHOOL THEME : BEARS AND HIBERNATION

We will explore and learn about the  wonderful life of bears and appreciate the animals that sleep during the winter.




CCS Christmas Concert

The weather is becoming cooler....and Christmas not that far away!!  The 4 Year Old children will begin practicing for their concert that will be held on Tuesday December 13th.  There will be two shows: afternoon and evening.

Preschool Family Christmas Party
3 Year Old Party:  December 15th
4 Year Old Am Party: December 16th
4 Year Old Pm Party: December 14th (No Pm class on Dec. 16th)

This coming week we will share our appreciation and thankfulness for the many men and women that in the past and present who have done amazing and selfless acts to keep our country safe and filled with peace.

Wow, I cannot believe it is already November, the days feel like they are flying by!!  The 4 Year old children will soon be preparing for the school Christmas Concert that is just around the corner!  The music will be sent home so parents can practice with their children to help build their self-confidence on the stage:)
